Living with bipolar disorder can feel like riding a rollercoaster you didn’t sign up for—one moment you’re energized and invincible, the next you’re overwhelmed and unable to move. At We Conquer Together, we offer a safe, supportive space to help you find stability and healing. Located in Yorba Linda, one of Orange County’s most peaceful communities, our inpatient program is designed specifically for adults navigating the highs and lows of bipolar disorder.
We believe in whole-person healing. That means we don’t just treat symptoms—we get to the heart of what’s going on, with compassion, clinical excellence, and an unwavering belief in your ability to heal. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been living with bipolar disorder for years, our experienced team is here to walk with you, every step of the way.
Bipolar disorder is more than just mood swings—it’s a complex mental health condition that impacts energy levels, decision-making, relationships, and daily functioning. It’s also not one-size-fits-all. There are several different types of bipolar disorder, and understanding the distinctions can be an important first step toward finding the right treatment path. At We Conquer Together, we help you make sense of what you’re experiencing by starting with education, empathy, and clarity.
Here’s a closer look at the main types of bipolar disorder:
Characterized by at least one full manic episode, which may be severe and require hospitalization. Depressive episodes often occur as well, but aren’t necessary for diagnosis. Mania may involve risky behavior, racing thoughts, inflated self-esteem, and reduced need for sleep.
Involves a pattern of depressive episodes and hypomania (a less intense form of mania). People with Bipolar II often experience more prolonged periods of depression and may not initially recognize the hypomanic states as problematic.
Features chronic fluctuations between milder depressive symptoms and hypomanic symptoms that last for at least two years. While these mood shifts are less extreme, they can still disrupt daily life.
These include cases that don’t fit neatly into the above categories but still involve clinically significant mood disturbances. Our team takes the time to understand these nuanced presentations and tailor care accordingly.

Our inpatient program is the heart of bipolar disorder treatment at We Conquer Together. We’ve designed it to provide structure without rigidity, freedom without chaos, and intensive care in a warm, residential environment. Clients live in upscale suburban homes in Yorba Linda, surrounded by calm, community, and clinical excellence. This setting allows us to stabilize acute symptoms while beginning deeper therapeutic work.
Our inpatient treatment typically progresses through the following phases:
Focused on safety and symptom reduction. Our psychiatric team works closely with you to manage mania or depression with proper medication support and round-the-clock monitoring.
Once stable, you’ll begin daily therapy, including individual sessions, group therapy, DBT skills training, and other evidence-based practices tailored to your diagnosis and needs.
We help you explore underlying issues like trauma, co-occurring conditions, and relationship patterns that may contribute to mood instability.
Before discharge, we work with you to build a plan that supports long-term stability. This might include stepping down to outpatient care, continuing therapy, or connecting with an alumni network.
Because there can be an interplay between bipolar disorder and disordered eating patterns—especially during depressive or manic episodes—we also provide access to registered dietitians. Not everyone with bipolar disorder struggles with food, but many benefit from nutritional support as part of a whole-person approach to mental health.
If you’re seeking more than once-a-week therapy or feel like outpatient care just isn’t cutting it, inpatient treatment at We Conquer Together offers the depth and intensity you need to truly stabilize and grow. This isn’t just a step up—it’s a full-spectrum, immersive healing experience designed for adults who know they need more support. Whether you’re navigating frequent mood episodes, feeling stuck in patterns that don’t change, or struggling to maintain safety, our residential program gives you the clinical care and emotional space to reset.
Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we build a treatment plan just for you—centered on your history, current symptoms, co-occurring conditions, and personal goals. From the very beginning, you’ll be part of the planning process, and we make sure every step honors your voice and preferences. While the structure of inpatient care provides necessary safety, we don’t believe in taking away your autonomy—we help you reclaim it.
You’ll be matched with a licensed therapist who is handpicked to support your needs and build a strong therapeutic relationship. This person will guide your treatment from start to finish, helping you dig deep, process difficult experiences, and develop practical skills for managing bipolar disorder. Continuity matters, and having one consistent therapist allows for deeper trust and greater progress.
We use a comprehensive clinical toolkit tailored for mood disorders. Our program includes:
These therapies are carefully chosen and personalized, helping each client access healing from multiple angles—body, brain, and beyond.
Our group therapy sessions are small, intentional, and facilitated by experienced clinicians who create a space that feels safe and impactful. These groups aren’t generic lectures—they’re dynamic, interactive sessions focused on real-life skill building, emotional insight, and peer support. Many clients say these groups are where the biggest shifts start to happen.
Tucked into one of the more peaceful areas of Orange County, our Yorba Linda homes offer a tranquil environment that encourages rest and reflection. You won’t be in a sterile facility—you’ll be in a quiet, upscale residential neighborhood with calming surroundings that promote emotional regulation. This separation from the noise of daily life is intentional. It gives you the breathing room to focus fully on your healing.
You won’t need to wait days for a callback or navigate confusing systems to get help. At We Conquer Together, your clinical team is just steps away. Whether you’re experiencing a tough moment, need a medication adjustment, or simply want to talk something through, our team is always close by, ready to support you in real-time.
If you’re in crisis or at risk of harm, we take immediate, compassionate action. Our 24/7 staff is trained to de-escalate safely and supportively. We help you regain a sense of safety and stability without judgment or punishment. Your safety comes first, always—and we know how to respond in ways that make you feel seen, not shamed.
This level of care is designed for people who need more than surface-level support. If you’re ready to get to the root of what’s going on and commit to real change, our inpatient program is here to help you take that next step—safely, intentionally, and with people who truly understand.
We believe in building a relationship with each client, not just a chart. You’re not just another case—you’re someone who deserves thoughtful, layered care that meets you where you are and helps you grow beyond survival. With structure, compassion, and access to both proven and emerging treatments, we create an environment where real change can take root. If you’ve been told to “just manage it” or you’ve felt dismissed in other settings, we’re here to offer something different: care that honors both your pain and your potential.
This is your space to slow down, stabilize, and reconnect with a version of life that actually feels possible.
If you’re looking for more than symptom management—and want a space where you can truly heal—we’re here for you. At We Conquer Together, our inpatient bipolar disorder program offers the depth, structure, and compassion needed to help you find balance and move forward. We Conquer Together
We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.
To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairment, cognitive disabilities, and more.
This website utilizes various technologies that are meant to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that allows persons with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs.
Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application remediates the website’s HTML, adapts Its functionality and behavior for screen-readers used by the blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments.
If you’ve found a malfunction or have ideas for improvement, we’ll be happy to hear from you. You can reach out to the website’s operators by using the following email
Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements, alongside console screenshots of code examples:
Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website.
These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside it.
Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers).
Despite our very best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their needs. There may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible. Still, we are continually improving our accessibility, adding, updating and improving its options and features, and developing and adopting new technologies. All this is meant to reach the optimal level of accessibility, following technological advancements. For any assistance, please reach out to
